What's New in the Library? 62 New Books Just Arrived!Thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Judy Sullivan and her husband Ed, we just received 62 new books! Most of these are the most popular new fiction for young adults, including the latest from favorite authors like Sharon Draper and Laurie Halse Anderson, and a dozen or so new Orca soundings series novels.
 Britannica Online Academic EditionOne of our new resources this school year is Britannica Online. This Web reference offers the same academic excellence for which Encyclopedia Britannica is known. In addition, it provides many extras. One helps organize, store, and share research information. Video and multimedia clips, photographs, illustrations, and interactive timelines are other extras of Britannica Online. This resource is available 24/7; ID and password are necessary for remote access. Check with the library staff about these!

 Two New DatabasesWe are excited to announce the addition of two new Gale databases. Biography Resource Center and Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center. Biography Resource Center enables students to find information on current people in the news, and those "pop culture" people, who are difficult to find in print. Both are excellent reference tools for students and teachers!
